hi,

thanks for help,

i am using lov's to the text item and this text item is in the control blok i i did the procedure what ever is required but still i am getting the problem what should i do to clear this problem(ie. FRM-30049: Unable to build column mapping.)  i am also getting another error along with this that is FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output. how to solve these two problems.

check your LOV's column mapping properties. The return item should be mapped to the correct :block.item for each columns.

thanks for help MG..

I have only one field which uses the LOV that field is department number this and i gave the return value as u said but that is not taking the return value and when i click on the coloumn mapping that is not showing any return value. i gave the return value sevaral time but still showing the error ablove so wht should i do.
