Dear all
I have devloped a D2k application , i installed it on my desktop because it is a client sever application. Forms version is 6i and the database is Oracle 8i
When i am invoking the first(log-in) screen it is takin 60- 70 seconds just to display the window which propt for username paassword and connection string of the database.
After that again each form is taking the 60-70 sec for just geting opened
I want to know
when ever any fmx is being invoked, how it gets loaded into buffer and how it interanlly connects with database after the user provides the username password and adatabase connectivity
it is very urgent please help me
