I have upgraded from win 98 to xp pro. xp says that there are no conflicts with 9i Personal Release 1(9.0.1.1.0) <A name=746186>[/url]for Windows 98 v1.2. I extracted Developer suite from a zip file into a oraDev folder named disk 1 and disk 2. when running setup.exe universal installer/os "unable to set up inventory. you may not have permissions" I have one account on xp, mine with admin rights. what's wrong... should I reinstall 9i edition for xp and then install devel? Pls Help.
