Color palettes, FMB->XML and XML->FMB [message #83722]

I have a problem understanding what color palette Forms is using. If I convert an FMB-file to XML (to get rid of color palette information because they are different) you get no information on the color palette.

But, if you open that FMB-file, that used to be a XML-file during its lifecycle, you find a sort of default default palette.

If you make a new form from scratch you'll get a default palette, different from the default default palette.

How does the Edit->Preferences palette thing work? Do you define your palette in there, or is there a kind of pointer to the palette forms use when creating a new form?
