I have installed Oracle Forms6i on Solaris 8 with the following Oracle configuration:
*** Oracle8i Enterprise 8.1.7.0.0
*** PL/SQL 8.1.7.0.0
*** CORE 8.1.7.0.0
*** TNS for Solaris: Version 8.1.7.0.0
*** NLSRTL Version 3.4.1.0.0
There were no problems during the installation. The installation was full - not a custom.
Forms 6i works great except when I choose 'help' from the top menu bar in the Object Navigator. "About Form Builder" gives me appropriate information. "Cue Cards" and "Quick Tour" also work fine.
When I choose "Form Builder Help Topics", a small box with the word "FORMS" and a radio button for OK appears. Pressing OK closes the small box and I return to my screen.
I would appreciate any help!
