HI friends,
i developed a form in Forms4.5 and Oracle 7.3.
now we are migrating the oracle7.3 to oracle 8i.
when i tested the form i got a form error
FRM-40501.COULD NOT RESERVE RECORD FOR UPDATE OR DELETE.
pls let me know the cause and solution as soos as possible

May be some locking problem. shutdown the database start again and try.

I have exactly the same problem but have drawn up blanks so far. Can you let me know if you ever figured it out. If so what did you do?
