I have installed Oracle 9i Forms on Windows 2000. I have oracle 8i as backend.
it is getting connected. but the problem is that i cannot run the from. the error message i receive is
"The HTTP Listener is not running on (null) at port 1020. Please start the listener or check your runtime preferences"
I have started OC4J instance but still the problem is there. can anybody please help me resolving this problem.

Hi,
The OC4J instance takes a while to start up. You need to wait for message "... Containers for J2EE initialized".
If you still get errors, check if you use the correct port in your .../forms90/server/formsweb.cfg file.

To run oracle 9i forms in a web browser , you have to
to install Oralce's JInititor. Look for a file called jinit.exe in your 9iDS Home (under directory jinit). Jinit is a plugin Java runtime environment for MS IE and Netscape.
It needs to be installed before you can view any forms or reports.
