How to return a value [message #80969]

I am using call_form from from1 to get to form2 and I would like form2 to return a value back to form1. The value that is getting passed back is an updated parameter that is passed to form2. I've gotten the original variable passed over but I can't get it passed back.

you could put it in a global variable.
:global.my_param := 'value';
