Hi all !!,
I have five fields namely location_code,invoice_date,section_code,vendor_id and dd_number in my form.
After entering the first 4 fields, a validation has to be given.
(i.e) if for the given invoice_date,vendor_id,location_code and the section_code, the dd_number is already avaliable, then the user shud not be allowed to enter the dd_number. or a message should be displayed.
(it can have multiple rows too).
How will i accomplish this...

Write a 'when-validate-item' trigger in the 'dd_number' field ,checking whether matching data exits ...
