hai i have one text box.....and few buttons.....

it a must i need to write some code in post-text trigger of that text item......

the buttons i have are 'exit','go_back' and 'clear'

when the user enters some valid value in text item and suddenly he wanted to leave the form so hes clicking exit button....
here the trigger-post-text-item trigger is fired...but i dont want this to be fired when user clicks any of the above buttons.......

how to avoid it????but post-text-trigger must be there....
any help gr8ly appreciated.....

Hi,

You can give exit_form(no_validate)/clear_form(no_validate);
Make sure that the buttons are previous to the field items ,if in same block
