Dear;
i wanna to install developer2000 on windows2000 with the database of oracle personnel 8. please replay me soon. should i install them both in the same directory or different and what should i do else couze i spent long time trying to do that but i can't.

Uninstall D2K and Oracle you have previously installed. Then install D2K. Let the oracle home or folder name be C:ORALCE. Make another folder say C:TEMP and copy the content of C:ORACLE including the sub folders into C:TEMP. Remove the C:ORACLE folder. Now install Oracle 8 on the default folder C:ORACLE. After installation copy everything from C:TEMP to C:ORACLE. This will work.
