Create the List Item (use Layout Editor or Object Navigator to create a new text item or convert an existing item into a text item).
Open up the Property Palette
Ensure that Database Item is set to Yes
Under Column Name, give the column name associated with the list item (which should already be associated with a particular data block)
Set List Style to T-list, combo box or Poplist.
Elements in list - press on the More button here and a List Elements dialog box opens.
List Elements – enter choices to appear in the list
List Item Value –the actual value in the database table that corresponds to the selected list elements.
