Hi,
I want to make a package that check's the mail for new messages, read them (there in fixed format) and set the messages to status read.
I'm currently using oracle 8.1.7

Can someone give me an example of how to receive e-mails in oracle.

what email software u r using ? can u provide more details regarding the location of data(database/file system) and how oracle db is related to email system.

We are currently using outlook 2000 subversion 9.0.0.3821 but i necessary i can install an other version or program.
The current version of oracle is 8.1.7.
We have a full license so we can install it the way we want.
The Os is Winnt 4 server I'm not sure of the current servicepack and subversion.
