populating a master-detail form.(Very Urgent) [message #78273]

Hi, i have a master-detail form based on two related blocks. i want to open this form and populate certain items in the two blocks based on a value selected in the calling form.
Items not populated in the called form, including the linking item, will be entered before the whole is saved. i am at a loss how to do this without knowing the value of the linking item. Please help.

hi,
try to populate the master block basing on the value u r sending from other form. if the master block gets populated automatically detail block gets populated if there is a relation created......
