look am trying to install client of the designer on windows 2000 and it goes and install it completly but when i try to declare the TNS name it accept it but i can't test i can't found testing option on the oracle net8 easy configration,
and then when i try to connect on the database it gives the msg TNS name can't be resolved.. so any one can tell me what to do

copy your oracle database tnsnames and replace that of designer, then delete the sqlnet from designer and you shold be able to connect and test your software installation.
