Hi Peter,

I think the prompts problem is a recognised bug in forms 6i - there is a patch you can apply that fixes it - 6i_patch_4_NT(for NT). Applying this patch fixes the problem as was in my case. The oracle site (or find out from our DBA) should provide the lists of patches from which you can select the patch compatible with your OS.
