Hi Slim
How about adding an "end-of-text"-character after the text of the field inside the POST-TEXT-ITEM-Trigger. You can then use a DML-Procedure to store only the text before the "end-of-text"-character ( involving the spaces at the end ) inside your database-column.
Don't know if this is working ... it's just a first idea.
