Hi
I am trying to install Oracle 9i on Windows 2000 server. I got the following error:
"Error during loading library areasQueries".
I searched different forums, but didn't find any solution. Please help me.

I had the same problem upgrading an environment from 9206 to 9207. I tried everything, even delete all oracle homes and c:\program files\oracle and start from scrach. Did not work. Then I RE-downloaded the patch and unziped it to the local HDD, it work 100%
Weird, as I used the network location 20 times before I got this error and only one one server.

I had the same problem. I tried to install oracle database 9i on win2003server. The install failed with "error loading library areasQueries". I recognized, that the directory, where I copied the installation CD's , had an apostrophe like "Orainst CD's".
I aborted the installation, renamed the folder to "orainst_cd" and the installation went through with no problems.
