I have installed Oracle Database Server 8.1.7. I understand that Oracle Provides Oracle HTTP Server with Oracle DB server 8.1.7. Now I wanted to configure Oracle HTTP server to run Servlets/JSPs.

(1) Is it possible to run servlets/jsps if I have only Oracle HTTP Server ?
(2) If it is NOT possible, is there any free server (like TOMCAT) through which I can configure Oracle HTTP server to run Servlets/Jsps ?

Please help me out, I need to decide the technical architecture for one upcoming project..

Thanks for your time
Kiran

Yes, you can run the servlets/jsp through the Oracle HTTP server, you just need to config it through the Jser.
