i installed oracle8.1.6i, and oas 4.0.8.1 on the same windown2000 pc, but on different ORACLE_HOME.

the NET8 Assistant shows my local service name is successful.( service name=gri.GRI;connection=defaul;) but my database SID=gri.

Database Name(Oracle_SID) = ?

i have tried both gri and gri.GRI,
error is:
OWS-05566: DAD test submission failed due to error 12154
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name

pls help me. thanks!

OAS 4.0.8.1 is not compatible with W2K
