Hi ,
It seems that you have registry conflict problem. First you should deinstall oracle 9i from the registry. It seems that it is screwed up alredy. Oracle 9i has it own database also but you can create your own too. I think this will solve your problem. And regarding the Listener problem check your services before creating the database. Check the installation manual for oradim facility

I've a similar problem I've a done installation in win2k advance server. I'm not able to open the database. Need some assistance.
