I have a problem installing iAS on my Dell Pentium 4. I had problems installing Oracle 8i before finding out about the Java Runtime Env problem. I saw the posting from Cory Gray on Sep 2nd.
I think this is the same issue but during the iAS install, alot more auto configuration is done. Any hints as to how to get 9iAS installed on a Pentium 4 would be very helpful.
Gary :)

I ran into a similar problem with 9iAS installation on P4/Win2kPro.
I managed to start the installation after copying a JRE 1.1.7 into stageComponentsoracle.swd.jre1.1.7.301DataFilesExpandedjrewin32bin. This directory was empty (?!) and I have to tell that I used Oracle provided CDs.
So, after copying JRE files into that directory I managed to see all dialogs for customized installation, but, surprise, the last dialog window dissapeared and nothing else replaced it :)).
I am sure my explanation is not going to help you very much. Anyway, please let me know if you managed to install 9iAS on that configuration.
Thank you.
Valentin
