hi folks !
i want to design a table with one of field with sequence as one of the field (which is basically number data type) .

I am not sure if Oracle supply this as part of standard Table creation (column definition).
But in the old days (will still work) you had to create a database ON_INSERT/ON_UPDATE trigger, or set the default value for the column.
I would investigate new table creation scripts (post 9i) I am pritty sure they were not abailiable in 8.
