Hi,
I had problems with Intermedia search. I tried to create index but gave an error message saying that
DRG-50704: Net8 listener is not running or cannot start external procedures
I read your reply it was very useful.
I tried the approaches suggested by you if the intermedia is not configured.
When we typed 'lsnrctl status', it said that no listener was running.
However status in Windows services showed that it was running.
We stopped the service and started it by giving the command
'lsnrctl start LISTENER' on cmd prompt
The listener started and we could create indexes.
