Oracles OCI C++ example code does not seem to support 8.1.7 spatial geom types (sdo_gtype of 2001 is in use not 1 or 4?! - from tracing the code and inspection of geom field), am I correct in this assumption - if so is there any sample code that demonstrates the later types or have they crossed over to only using the Java libraries now. Grateful for any comments.
