Hello Oracle expert,

Is there anyone who could tell me if snapshot replication is working between an Oracle 8.1.7 and an Oracle 7.3.4 database ?

Oracle 7 and 8 can communicate with each other with proper NET8 and SQL*NET configuration.
in this case you need both SQL*NET server,client rel2 and NET8 server,client on both systems.
I think once the database is capable of communicating with each other , replication is possible thru proper dblink, init.ora parameter settings and replication procedures.
pl. mail me to have more help in setting init.ora in this case.

Hi experts,

can i replicate my server using snapshot in other Master server. If it so please mail me the procedure . I am using Oracle8 standard version
