Hi All,

I have a few tables and I need to export data from some columns from each table in a single text file. Is it possible to create a text file and then export data in it through oracle commands.

Your answres would be highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards
Era

In this case,
EXPORT would not be right terminology.
It means differnt w.r.to Oracle.
You just spool the data using simple sql commands.
For More complex operations, use utl_file builtin package to write to an OS file.
For spooling please refer here

For UTL_FILE please refer here
http://www.psoug.org/reference/utl_file.html

and Ofcourse, GOOGLE and oracle documentation would help you better
