Hi,
i am getting a error when i am trying to clone a database from a hot database backup using RMAN. i have used the same script a few days ago to clone the same database, and it worked.i get the following error.
RMAN-03002: failure of Duplicate Db command at 01/17/2005 08:45:33
RMAN-03015: error occurred in stored script Memory Script
RMAN-06004: ORACLE error from recovery catalog database: RMAN-20201: datafile not found in the recovery catalog
RMAN-06010: error while looking up datafile: 82
where is this datafile?? pls guide

sorry guys. i got the answer. i was using an old date. wherein the datafie was not present.. now its going thru
