i made a export of a database oracle7.3.2(solaris 8).I want to import it into  oracle 9.2.0.1
windows 2000 adv server.Irrespective of os it will work.Correct ?.Whats the prerequistes
to import to new database(9.2.0.1).Wheter i have to create users with tablespaces or users alone.Is
there any of these(users & tablespace) because dmp file contains the definitons of the schmeas
and tablespaces.What shall i do the desupported features in 9.2 that's supporting in 7.3
i will create a empty database with large undo segment( how much big the undo segment).

Shyam,

You need not create the user or tablespace but, the direcctory structure should exist as you have it in 7.3.2.Files will be created when u try to import.

hi vikas
can u explain detaily how this will be acomplish.That means we should create the tablespaces.The datafiles that makes the tablespaces correct
