Hi,
Some suggestions:
1. Ensure your archive log directory is writeable (by oracle) and has sufficient free space for new archives.
2. Verify your archive related INIT.ORA parameters (log_archive_dest or log_archive_dest_1 is set to a valid directory; log_archive_format is valid; log_archive_dest_state_* is enabled; etc.).
3. Disable ARCHIVELOGMODE for the entire database (not a good idea, but will solve your problem).
Best regards.
Frank
