I have a export dump of Unix environment, I want it to import on Windows environment. The export dump was of Oracle 8.0 and I want to import it in Oracle 9i. The error is coming

With the Partitioning option

IMP-00038: Could not convert to environment character set's handle
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

try to use the same NLS_LANG setting during both export and import .
Also use the same RECORDLENGTH value during export and import.

I have tried with 'AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252' AND WITH 'AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1' US7ASCII. Pls. give some possible values so that I can try.

Hi,

I want to Import the Oracle database in oracle server.In one of the table we have around 42000 records.i am able to import 17000 records only.how do i give a command to select particular rows to import the datas.
