topspeed is a database like access, oracle, sql server and so on. Usually it is used with Clarion 5, a development software.

Hi,
I know too late for my reply but because your question has still been found in Google searching on the first position, I offer my help to you or other Oracle specialists when an export from Clarion/Topspeed databases is needed.
I'm Clarion/TopSpeed programmer with many years of Oracle experience and I'm able to export easily Clarion (.DAT) or TopSpeed (.TPS) databases to a format of your choice - ASCII, DBF, Excel, Access,...
I can generate the Oracle / Informix / MS SQL / MySQL "INSERT" scripts very quickly as well.
Of course, there is available the TopSpeed ODBC driver when you need to read your source files online.
Let me know if you would need any help and visit my site for more Clarion related information on
www.artofprogramming.net
Kind Regards!
Alfred

Did you get my q?
I am not familiar with these databases, I am a user. But I have come to own a database for a medical clinic that we want to keep on going and we want to upgrade the TOPSPEED db. In order to do that we have to get it over to a MySQL or MSSQL or something modern as I have been told.
How to do that is the q.
