sqlldr scott/tiger@db ....

in the above case, i want to hide(encrypt) scott/tiger.
Can it be done?

Hi,
you can use sqlldr scott@db....

So when u press enter you will be prompted for a password. This way atleast your password will remain hidden.

Yeah...that's one..but i'm gonna schedule this process and it's impossible to get someone to enter the password everytime it triggered.
I am figuring whether i can use hidden file approach i.e calling another hidden file's parameters(username&pwd).

What do u think? Have u heard of this technic?

Put your passwords in a script and call the script(@@Password.sql) in the main script.

It works for me.
