I have a problem which I need help with. I am writing a script to laod a deliminated txt file. The problem is that the input fields and record length can can change based on conditions at the time of extract. The files are named the same.

How can I determine which format to load? Is there a way of selectively loading based on fields in the txt file.

Thanks

phil

Thanks for you reply but I think you misunderstood. Increasing column size does not help me with my problem.
