Hi!

Currently my system specification are Win 2000Pro, and would like to install the Oracle Enterprise edition.
Durring my installation there are a few errors occurs!
How can I set up my local database for test purposes?
I used the Database Configuration Assistant to create DB. But the problem here is, there is an errors "ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced" when I test the services connection?
How and any suggestions to these problems, cause I have tried reinstall it several times bu in vain.
TIA

1. which block size did you select?
2. Make sure, you didnt give any INVALID names for the
SID.
like the SID should not have any alpha numeric characters , comma,- , blankspace etc..
3. did you set your ORACLE_HOME?
LOOK INTO logfile and post the exact sequence of messges/
