I know this issue has been hit by others. Running 8.1.7.4 on HP, in process of migrating to AIX on IBM. Our method for migrating is using export/import with pipes to move the data. On the import of the PERFSTAT user, i get an infinite loop of constraint violations. I know oracle provides a par file for exporting the PERFSTAT schema.....question is, on the importing DB, do I create the PERFSTAT user before attempting the import? If so, has anyone successfully moved the PERFSTAT schema into a new DB ?! I have tried multiple approaches and the closest I have gotten is by not pre-creating the PERFSTAT schema and importing the data......albeit with errors in the STATSPACK procedure that I have not been able to entirely resolve.
