hi,
I wish to export data from an oracle client. I got the oracle error 904 - invalid column name.
Is it possible to export or import data from an oracle
client? If no, then what is the reason.

You mean, exporting using exp.exe available with client installation?
definatly you can.
just make sure u are giving connectstring and using the same version of the tool
PLEASE POST MORE INFORMATION / ERRORS or snapshot of the sesssion.
