Hello Anyone,
My platform is a Windows2000 server set up with RAID5.
The server is partitioned with a "C" and "D" drive.
OraceBase and OracleHome are on the "C" drive.
Using the Configuration Assistant I have created a DB on the "D" drive at the same location as another DB.
The other DB was delivered to another office with the instructions for setup. I can only assume that the "CAT" scripts were run for it at that time.
My question is... If I run the scripts for my DB will it have any effect on the other DB.
My background is that of a DB babysitter. I've never created one from scratch and I'm sort of winging it with a stack of reference manuals as my assistants.
Please HELP!
