Hi,
The difference in Character Sets is not really a problem.
I have tried to drop and recreate the database with all possible combinations of char sets, but it didn't work.
Finally I found that the export was done in Oracle 8.1.7 while I was importing it using 8.1.6 and this was the problem. I tried importing it in Oracle 9i and it did import even though it gave out errors for char sets.
