I am getting an invalid column name error even though that column exists in my table.
Here is my control file:
LOAD DATA
INFILE 'w_survey.txt'
APPEND
INTO TABLE warehouse.lake_survey
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '"'
(
YEAR,
WATER_DOW,
SURVEY_DATE DATE "mm/dd/yyyy",
TYPE "UPPER(TYPE)",
CHEM_SAMP_DATE DATE "mm/dd/yyyy" "chk_date(SURVEY_DATE)" ,
SECCHI_FT,
PH,
ALKALINITY,
COLOR,
TOT_PHOSPHOROUS,
TOT_DISSLVD_SOLIDS,
CHLOROPHYLL,
CONDUCTIVITY,
NO_TRANSECTS,
MAX_DEPTH,
HAB_BEGIN_DATE,
HAB_END_DATE
)
Here is the error it generates:
Record 1: Rejected - Error on table WAREHOUSE.LAKE_SURVEY, column CHEM_SAMP_DATE.
ORA-00904: invalid column name
