Hi all,
Pls. suggest some ways to go about taking export dumps of 100gb of database in a DLT directly. The data available will be approximately 90 GB of data. pls. metion the syntax also.

Use PIPE and put the output into a compressed file.
90 GB data DOES not mean that the export output file will be 90 GB. My guess will be around 3-4 GB compressed. But I may wrong too.

Oracle 8i lets you create a multiple-file export. There's a new export parameter called FILESIZE.
Full description in the Oracle Utilities manual, Export chapter.
