I'm using Data Guard on Oracle 9i (W2K OS) and I'm on step three of the Create Configuration Wizard. I'm trying to create a new physical standby database and when I click next then during the data guard primary verification I wait a few moments then get a window that pops up and says "Data Guard remote process startup failed" Anybody ever run across this problem and found a solution? I set the preferred credentials on the Node as an OS username Administrator and my Intelligent Agent is running and Discovery went fine.
