i got the following message.
if i submit a Export job in Oracle8i/WinNT
The system cannot find the file specified.
couldn't open "D:/ORACLE/ORA81/DATABASE/EXPORT.LOG": no such file or directory
any suggetion would be appriciated.

i got just the same failure message with Oracle8i/OEM 2.1.0.1/W2K when the exporting-job should be done by sysman ("couldn't open EXPORT-PATH/export.log": no such file or directory).
Strangely enough there is no export.log, there is even no oms.log or oms.nohup.
Did you get it work finally? Any suggestion would be very welcome!

Thank you very much for your response. I already created a windows-user with the "Log on as batch job" right (it's not the VNI-2015 error)... the export.log still can't be found/written.
On another W2K-machine with Oracle 8.1.7 and OEM 2.2.0 the export is working with the same configs. But the Database to export is on a W2K with Oracle 8.1.6 and OEM 2.1.0.1. Might there be a bug in this version?
