can anybody explain me how to create OEM server manually .The version iam using is oracle 8i(8.1.7)
What should be the user account & password to log into OEM server.I have not installed OEM configuration assistant.
I need in depth explanation on this.

first install OMS ( oracle management server).
install OEM tools /packs ( OEM console / whatever you wnat.)
create a repository ( a small database to hold the information related to OEM . repository may be created
in an existing database or a new one).
start the intelligent agent in all participating nodes.
Invoke OEM.
