Hi
By anlyzing a table in the DB, I could see the statitics in the Oracle Enterprise Manager tool, that it got row chaining.....now I am trying to clean it by export/import..but still it shows the same....Is there any method that I could think of....and on what basis, should I change the storage parameters....It is very urgent.....please reply asp.

Hello Mahesh
I could not understand at the below, I marked it with "??" Could you explain me why I have to do it again?
mag@itloaner1_local > rename test98 to someothername;
Table renamed.
mag@itloaner1_local > rename bak_test98 to test98;
Table renamed.
now import the data into test98; till here is not sufficient?
????then rename test98 to bak_test98;??????
????????rename someothername to test98;?????????
