Hi All:
We are trying to centralize all management function to a single enterprise-wide OEM/OMS. Would like to manage both the application server and the database servers from one location, but we need to be able to selectively assign access/rights to the targets based to the dba and app server admin groups.
The documentation suggets this is possible, but does not provide any details on the granularity of privileges, discovery of targets, best practices.
Am looking for input from anyone who has done this before.
Thanks.
Regards,
Srikanth

1. You can create SUPERADMINISTRATOR's or REGULARADMINSTRATOR's.
2. Super Administrators automatically have full
privileges for all objects in the system.
3. Regular Administrators can have access to a subset
of Console operations.
4. Target are listeners, databases,Nodes and HTTP
servers.
5. So by assigning different target to dbadmins and
appserveradmins (like just HTTP) we can segregate
them.
something, i am not comfortable is,we can restrict access to some objects, but not restrict which services they can see!!.
