Somehow we ended up with a system tablespace sized at
4gb. However we are only using less than 2% of that. I was hoping to resize it, but when looking at the map of the storage space, found a few extends at the end of the data file, precluding resizing of the file. Is there any way I can move the objects associated with these extents so that I can regain the lost space?
Thanks

SIR,
WE CAN'T REDUCE THE FILE SIZE DIRECTLY.DO ONE THING.
EXPORT THE TABLES IN YOUR DATABASE.THEN CREATE A DATABASE OR REINSTALL THE OS,ORACLE.THEN IMPORT THE TABLES IN TO THE NEW DATABASE.
THAT'S ALL
