Hi,

Can you tell me the exact syntax by which you are trying to start the intelligent agent.

It looks like you are not using the correct syntax to start the agent.

Hi,

i try to start the agent or to get an information about the status with the following command

$ agtctl status

Oracle Heterogeneous Services Agent Control Utility Release 8.1.0.0.0

(c) Copyright 1998, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.

ORA-28590: agent control utility: illegal or badly formed command
$ agtctl start

Oracle Heterogeneous Services Agent Control Utility Release 8.1.0.0.0

Hi,

First of all start the listeners and check whether u can make connection remotely or not. After that use the following command:

lsnrctl dbsnmp_start

I hope it will work.

Hi

when i start this command - i get the following error
