 hi

 i have installed oracle 8i and d2k rel 2.1 on windows 98 as a standalone environment. my pc dont have any network card or any network connected to it.

 i tried to cofigure net8 assistant as well as net8 easy config.

 i am not able to start listner services ,it shows some error like "missing listner name 'listner' in LISTNER.ORA"

pls help me guys

 it is very urgent
