I have the following situation:
-Oracle EE 817 for AIX
-listener on nondefault port 1525
-local_listener and other parameters which can point to a nondefault listener are not set (default is null)
-I can connect using both SID and SERVICE_NAME in tnsnames.ora connect descriptor

Can anyone explain that?
